What Is There Today?
Together with The Heeren Shopping Centre and Orchard Cineleisure,
Youth Park and Skate Park contribute significantly to
the pulse of Orchard Road. Today, National Youth Council
also organises concerts, carnival, gigs and other youth
events in the park to showcase our young talents.
These two play-spaces in the middle of our premier shopping
belt are popular hangouts for youths. Here, they have
a place to call their own, to chill out and have a good
time.
The two spaces, in particular the Skate Park, are alive
with activities late into the evening and nights especially
on weekends and public holidays. These activities frequently
attract curious onlookers and adds to the variety of experiences
along Orchard Road.
Did You Know?
The double-deckered bus "InQBuzz" in Youth Park
is provided by National Youth Council to help nurture
promising, start-up youth organisations.
