Location: 163 Tanglin Road
What Is There Today?
Walking along the pedestrian mall, you will be greeted
by fountains and water streaming down a water feature
wall on the side of Tanglin Mall.
Today, eateries spill onto the lushly landscaped plaza
and pedestrian mall, providing a quiet ambience for diners,
tucked away from the bustle and noise of the main road.
On some evenings, people also gather in this space, and
enjoy an evening of line-dancing, cowboy-style!
Did You Know?
Similar to the pedestrian mall along Orchard Road, the
pedestrian mall that runs in between Traders Hotel and
Tanglin Mall also sits over the Stamford Canal.
When the site was redeveloped and Tanglin Mall was built,
the existing pedestrian mall was retained and became a
special feature of the development.
