civic plaza along the action-packed Orchard Road.
With its signature fountain, this large urban living room
has become an important focal point along Orchard Road.
You can also find a pair of sculptures "Harmony I
& II" by Prof. Liu Jilin next to the fountain.
Did You Know?
When the plot of land where Ngee Ann City now stands was
developed, the developer incorporated an open plaza in
response to urban design considerations.
Since May 1993, the plaza has been the "stage"
for many events in Orchard Road. Under the Civic Plaza
is the big B1 & B2 Event Hall.
