The Merlion Park
Location: Adjacent to One Fullerton

What Is There Today?

Prominently located at the mouth of Singapore River , the Merlion Park is a picturesque waterfront spot enjoyed by both tourists and locals. The Merlion, relocated to the existing location in Sep 2002, is now set against the CBD skyline, offering wonderful photographic opportunities for visitors.

Elegant palm trees lined a ceremonial axis between the Merlion and the “baby” Merlion, while shades trees are planted and park furniture provided for visitors to enjoy the breeze under our tropical skies.

Visitors can also sit on the steps along the river wall, with water almost lapping on their feet and take in the panoramic view of the Marina Bay.

Did You Know?

The Merlion Park is partly located on reclaimed land and partly on a suspended deck structure. The viewing deck, suspended above water, doubles up as an outdoor performances venue, which can accommodate 200 seats for dining or a 120-member strong orchestra.
