The URA is inviting Consultant teams with the relevant architectural, urban planning, urban design and landscape expertise to participate and join the URA in developing plans for the waterfront promenade around Marina Bay . The Consultant Team shall have a designer that is qualified or licensed to provide architectural services in accordance with the laws and requirements in existence in Singapore . If appointed to the implement the project on site, this person shall be the Qualified Person for the project.
The consultancy is organised in two stages.
In Stage One, interested Consultant Teams will be required to submit their track record, their proposed team composition and their conceptual designs for the promenade. From the group of Consultant Teams that meet the track record requirements, the Design Evaluation Panel will short-list teams to proceed to Stage Two to further develop their design proposals. Consultant Teams that make a complete submission at the end of Stage 2 will be paid and honorarium of S$10,000.
Based on the design proposals submitted at the end of Stage Two, URA may appoint one or more firms as the Design Consultant to complete the detailed design, prepare the tender documents and supervise the implementation of the design on site. .
