CONFLICT OF INTEREST AND DISQUALIFICATION


Parties likely to be in conflict of interest are excluded from the Consultancy, including registered participating firms with owners, partners or employees having immediate family ties (parent, spouse, child, or sibling) with a member of the DEP or an employee of the URA who is closely associated with the preparation and / or conduct of the Consultancy.

Registered Consultant Teams whose owners, partners or employees have any family ties, other than those mentioned above, with a member of the DEP or an employee of the URA who is closely associated with the preparation and / or conduct of the Competition are required to declare their relationship on their Submission Form.

URA reserves the right to disqualify any registered participating firm / team if:

a.

The submission is received after the closing date and time stipulated;

   
b. In the opinion of the URA, the design proposal does not comply substantially with the requirements of the Design Brief or it exceeds the stipulated total construction cost;
   
c. Any of the terms and conditions of the Consultancy or specific instructions are disregarded;
   
d.

The registered Consultant Team influence the decision of the DEP;

   
e. The design proposal is found to be not the original work of the registered participating firm.
